good days

We had a special little visitor for a day.
And a really good day with new friends.

On this morning Pierce asked if we could have a picnic breakfast.
We got a little late start on school that morning but it was worth it.

August

We have grapes!

This little guy got away from the rest.

This is the rest on top of the light on our front porch.

One of our favorite games Zooreka.

Here is some of Blake's summer reading. What a love for reading this kid has.
Wish I had the time for it that he does.
He ask for 50 cents a book this year. I would have gone broke with much more than that.
It' s nothing for him to be reading 2-3 books at the same time. I don't know how he does it.

School Time

Blake's seat work minus math I still need to order that.

Pierce has settled right into art.

Homemade popsicles during reading.

Pierce's seat work minus math, it's on the way.

And here they are the first day of school. Check out that great map of the world in the back.

A man from church gave us that this year and it has been so nice.

The New McKays

Here it is Larry and Ruth, the new McKays. It's bigger and better. Lots of parking.

Blake and I never seem to have trouble finding books.

This boy loves the books.

The Rest of July

Fun in the rain.

Mommy and her boys.

Pierce being Pierce.

When granny started to feel a little better she and

the boys went on a few little walks.

That's a mean looking walking stick.

We got the bottom half enclosed.
